Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Assembly Technicians to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Cardiff area.
Candidates will need to have a prior manufacturing background, ideally within the Assembly/ Electronics/ PCB industries.
Hours of work:Days regular Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm. Early finish on Fridays 08:00am - 12:30pm
Duties include:- Hand assembly & sub assembly of medical devices and electrical devices
- Use of small hand-held tooling systems and equipment
- The accurate completion of all company documentation in regards to quality assurance related documents
- Visual quality inspection and function testing of finished product
- Soldering PCB Boards and Electrical wiring (previous soldering experience desirable)
- Compiling and completing quality related paperwork
- Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand and KPI's
- Good hand and eye coordination for dexterous assembly duties
The desired candidates will have:- Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within assembly/production and able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
- Soldering experience would be advantageous however not essential for the role.
