Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Wiring Assembly Operatives to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Blackwood area.
Successful candidates will be responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical equipment to engineering specifications and would report directly to the Manufacturing Managers.
Previous experience within a similar Electrical Assembly based role would be essential.
Hours of work:4 day working week: Monday - Thursday 06:45am - 16:30pm (Fridays off)
Responsibilities:- Working from a set of wiring and layout diagrams to build product
- Producing/Assembly of wiring looms
- Using a range of hand-held/crimp tools
- Building of electrical control panels and parts
- Using cranes and hoists
- Using powered hand tools (pneumatic and hydraulic)
- Following written instruction & diagrams to correctly assemble and build completed product
Requirements:- Ability to read and understand wiring/electrical drawings.
- Reading and understanding assembly diagrams.
- Previous electrical assembly experience would be essential
- Good communication skills
