Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking a Global Planner to join their team based out of their site within the Blackwood area.
You would be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data within the companies MRP system. Based in European facility, you will form part of a dedicated team establishing the foundation data utilised by the business to conduct repair and maintenance activities associated with commercial components.
Our client are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work with technical documentation and drawings from OEM portals. The role involves creating planning documents and work instructions for shop floor use within SAP/MRP systems. Candidates should be skilled in data input and configuration (SAP experience preferred) and able to research and interpret technical materials
Key responsibilities & duties would include:- Providing a key responsive service to the business via Helpdesk system support.
- Researching Technical Publications/Engineering drawings.
- Creation, maintenance and revision of master data (Labour & material resource) in SAP.
- Challenging the validity of such requests to ensure accuracy of data creation.
- Liaison with key functional Departments internally.
- Assisting with other duties as required by the department.
- Supporting departmental project activity and other CI initiatives.
Desired criteria for the role:- Prior experience in an office, production, or production engineering/planning environment with a focus on task prioritization.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with other departments, ensuring data standards are maintained.
- Proficiency in using various business tools, including SAP, E-Mail, MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to understand and interpret manufacturer's specifications, overhaul manuals, process sheets, drawings, and other work instructions.
