Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Mechanical Assembly Operators for our client’s manufacturing plant located in the Caerphilly area,

Hours of work:

Working days regular 07:30AM-16:00PM Monday-Friday with an early finish on Fridays.

We are seeking candidates who are comfortable using hand held tools (both pneumatic and hydraulic, who are familiar using rivets/drivers/screwdrivers & air powered nail guns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Assembly tasks using hand-held tools and systems to assemble components and subassemblies.
• Construct components from raw materials, following detailed specifications and assembly drawings to produce high-quality finished products.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Review and interpret work instructions to ensure correct assembly processes.
• Conduct checks and tests to ensure that assembled parts meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Package and secure finished products, using wrapping and banding techniques to ensure safe transport.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in an assembly or production environment is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Experience working to production targets, KPIs, and within tight schedules.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
