Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Assembly Operators to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Cwmbran area.
Hours of work:These roles are working on a 3 shift rotating pattern consisting of days, nights & afternoon shifts. Early finishes on all 3 shifts on Fridays.
Rates of pay:Days - £15.86
Afternoons - £15.86
Nights - £17.28
Duties of the role include:- Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
- Assembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterous
- Use of hand-held tooling systems along with Hydraulic & Pneumatic tooling equipment to manufacture product
- Quality inspection checks of finished product
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
- Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.
The desired candidates will have:- Previous experience within assembly/production and able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.
- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
