Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting for a number of Production Operators/Process Operators within the Blackwood area.
Candidates will need a prior manufacturing/factory background familiar with working to production KPI's and targets and operating an array of production based machinery and equipment.
Rates of pay:Mornings - £13.67, Afternoons £15.22 & Nights - £16.42
Responsibilities:- Operating production machinery and equipment & line feeding.
- Carry out production runs as required by production schedule.
- Complete accurate records of all specified products.
- Perform routine operations on all test and measurements equipment.
- Assist in modifications and process improvement programmes.
- Operate a range of production machinery and equipment, adjusting programmes where required and monitoring process start to finish.
- Responsible for maintaining local bay area/ loading areas.
- Participate in any problem solving and continuous improvement programmes focused on achieving business objectives.
The desired candidate:- Previous experience within a similar Process / Operator role would be essential
- Experience operating production machinery / equipment
- Able to trouble shoot technical issues
- Methodical thinker
Hours of work:These roles would be working days, nights & afternoons on a weekly rotation Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts.
